ホンデ ペンシル ゲストハウス（Hongdae Pencil Guesthouse）

The guesthouse was great. Everything was very nice and clean. There were many utilities such as a laundry room, a steaming iron, hair dryer, etc... The staff was super friendly, helpful, and their English and Chinese was perfect. The location was very close to the subway and the area was very nice and lively.

The guesthouse had many rules to follow, so it felt a little bit too much

Security. There are password locked doors so I know it’s safe - from the entrance to our own room.

Maybe a sign on the building would help. Although there was an email for the directions on how to get there and the necessary password, maybe a few signs on the road or another one on the side of the building would help it be seen faster.

Breakfast was good. Korean staff were very friendly, although Chinese staff misunderstood my concern and was a little rude. Location was good, close to EXIT 3 of Hongdae station.

There was a dog constantly barking all night every night during my stay. Then in the mornings there was constant noise of the construction site on the building next to the hostel.

The location is fantastic and conveniently close to shops, restaurants, cafes and the subway. Because it's down a side street it doesn't feel too noisy at night though.

No elevator but a lot of buildings like this in Korea don't have them. Just be aware if you have big or heavy luggage!

Their service. They allow me to have early check-in. And i thank you so much for that..

We ask to clean the room, but they forget to clean the bed..but i don't mind because the room is clean and there're no lift (because i stay at 5th floor)

the location is really convenient, very close to Hongdae subway station. some staff is very friendly and helpful.

stayed for 12 days and my room was not cleaned for all my stay (although I always put the sign out on time), they just placed new towels on my bed, that’s it. since the room is already pretty dusty it was really gross towards the end of my stay and I cleaned by myself as much as possible. the room towards the street is pretty noisy at night. not my first stay here but unfortunately definitely my last.

Location is great. So clean. Nice decor. Cute reception girl.

Shower got cold real fast. This in the dead of winter. Bed was hard and blankets thin. Breakfast very plain. All would be fine if not for the high price.

very near to subway station, very near to shopping hotspot like Hongik University market and stall. very near to food stall, and is the gathering place for travelling buses whick used to pick up guest to Skiing hotspot.

Staffs are very accomodating. They kept awake until 2am and helped us directed on how to get home without the subway. They also helped us deliver food at night. Always greeting us with a smile. :) The breakfast provided was good. We all enjoyed eating meals on their pantry. The location is superb! Very near the subway station, convenience stores and restaurants.

We checked in late so there was no proper introduction/briefing. Although instructions how to self check in were given beforehand, we still figured some things out on our now.

- The location is superb. The location of the property was really near to Hongdae Univ. Station Exit 3. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the guesthouse. And also the property very close to Hongdae, really convenient for shopping. - The room was clean and neat, also the bathroom was very clean. The room size not so big but not too small. It's very perfect for 2 persons. - The staffs at the property were very helpful. One night my room got the problem with the boiler, the duty staff was very nice and helpful. He did everything to fix the issues. All the staffs are able to speak English, so no worry about communication.

- This place might be not suited for elders because they didn't have the elevator service.

空間算大 也很乾淨 공간도 넓고 환경도 깨끗하습니다.

방의 청결상태가 상당히 맘에들고 아늑했습니다! 청소도 잘되어있고 화장실도 방마다 있어서그런지 눈치 안보고 이용할 수 있었구요 (역시 깨끗했어요!) 어디하나 불만족스러웠던점이 없었습니다. 아침식사시간이 상당히 넉넉해서 좋았습니다! 8:30분 부터 10:30분 까지였는데 음식의 종류도 다양했고, 식기류도 정돈이 잘되있던게 느껴졌습니다. 설탕과 캐첩 이러한 작은부분까지 신경 많이 쓰신것같음이 막 들어나서 좋았어요! 여유로운 시간이였어요 :) 홍대에서 묵어야 할 일이 있다면 재방문의사 100%입니다

객실은 넓은편이었습니다. 침대도 편했고 티비도 잘 나오며 화장실도 깨끗했어요. 홍대 번화가 안에 있어 늦은 시간까지도 카페나 식당을 방문할 수 있어 편했습니다. 저렴한 가격에 무료 주차공간도 제공되었고 스탭분은 굉장히 친절하셨습니다.

번화가 한가운데에 위치해있어 새벽 늦게까지 주변이 시끄럽고 방음이 안됩니다. 무료로 주차가 이용한 점은 좋은조건이지만 저희가 타고간 차는 SUV라 주말밤 좁은 골목길을 들어오는게 힘들었습니다. 운전이 서툰분께는 차량이용으로 이 숙소를 이용하시는건 비추천이고, 경차처럼 작은차는 괜찮을거같아요.

미리 요청했던건들이 전혀 준비되지않았음 다시는 지내고 싶지 않아요

진짜 완전 대박!지금 더 보고 싶다. 다음에 꼭 다시 만나겠어요! Hotel very very very good,next time will booking again.

숙소가 너무 좁아서 인터넷상 사진보다 못해 실망스러웠다. 아이들과 쉬기에 불편했고 침대에서만 머물수 있는 공간

직원이 친절하고 객실이 깨끗하여 좋았다.

사이트에 기재된 시내와의 거리가 생각보다 너무 멀었다.
